Are you feeling the energy of this Eclipse Season? For me it feels a bit like an underground engine has been fired up and is trying to gather momentum.
Following on from the Lunar Eclipse on the 25th March, we’re now in the eclipse canal and heading towards a TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE in Aries on the 8th April. A Solar Eclipse is always a New Moon and this is undoubtedly the most potent of the year..by far!
This New Moon Solar Eclipse marks the end of our last astrological year and the beginning of a brand new one. In Aries, the first sign of the Zodiac, its a powerful time to plant new seeds of intention for the year ahead. This is the time of the year where we get to wipe the slate clean and start afresh.
However, there other factors at play this time around. With Mercury Retrograde right now, things might not be progressing forward as much as we would like and there can be misunderstandings and even conflict arising. Stay at the centre of the wheel and try to avoid being drawn into the drama. On a practical level, be sure to back up ALL your data before this eclipse, as there might be communication breakdowns.
Big weather and big emotions can arise as we approach this Eclipse, so slow down, be gentle and look after yourself as the energy builds.
Its also a very important portal for change and healing, with the Sun, Moon and Chiron, the wounded healer all aligned at 19 degrees of Aries. Old unconscious, submerged patterns, injuries or emotions may come up into the light of your awareness, to be felt and moved through. Resist nothing – be open to it all!
The ruler of the eclipse is Mars, which is approaching Saturn in the water sign of Pisces – this encourages us to find our stability and potency from within, rather than to look for it on the outside.
