Hi
Seven planets gather in Aries at the coming New Moon on 17th April, an alignment that has not occurred in living memory. This is therefore, definitely no garden variety New Moon!
There is a huge concentration of fiery energy, which can feel intense and urgent, as if something very big and important is shifting inside you. It can also feel exhausting and may be disturbing your sleep patterns.
This New Moon is not subtle and unlike most Aries Full Moons, which are about moving forward courageously into the new, this is asking something different of us.
At the heart of this is healing, courtesy of Chiron, which is closely linked to the new moon. There’s an invitation here to meet ourselves differently, with more compassion and more kindness.
Whilst there’s a strong push to move forward, it might feel a bit like something is holding you back. You may also notice a tension between wanting stability and craving change. That’s natural right now. Part of you may want to hold on to what feels safe, while another part is ready to break free and try something new.
What makes this moment especially meaningful is that it connects back to a much longer cycle that began around 2018.
I go into this in more detail and give you tips on how to navigate the energy in my video above.
Just remember, you don’t need to have all the answers. In fact, it’s better if you don’t. This is not about galloping ahead, but rather about slowing down, tuning in and listening – then moving in the direction in which you are being led, one small, honest step at a time.
If things feel intense, keep it simple:
- Rest when you need to.
- Move when it feels right.
- Be gentle with yourself.
- And trust that something new is already beginning, even if you can’t fully see it yet.
With love
