On 27th July, we have a FULL MOON LUNAR ECLIPSE or BLOOD MOON at about 22:21.
This really is the mother of all eclipses, packing a mighty punch. It will be the longest Lunar Eclipse this century (2001 to 2100). The total phase of the eclipse – called the totality – spans 1 hour 42 minutes and 57 seconds. so be sure to watch for it in the night Sky on Friday
The eclipse falls in the sign of unpredictable Aquarius and is conjoined by fiery, masculine, active Mars which is also known as the red planet, PLUS it is squared by the ruler of Aquarius , the planet Uranus. This gives the moon an impatient, anxious, frustrated energy, which can be a little hard on our nervous systems.
Plus – Mars and Mercury will both be retrograde – so there is a very push pull energy at play. In the lead-up to, during and after the Eclipse, be sure to back up all your data, breathe deeply and take regular breaks!
Below is a copy of the chart for those of you who understand a bit of astrology. Those of you have Sun, Moon or Ascendant – or a group of planets in Fixed signs ( Leo, Aquarius, Scorpio and Taurus are likely to feel it more. However all of us will feel it in the area which houses 1 to 8 degrees Leo or Aquarius and the houses ruled by those signs.
An eclipse happens when the sun is conjoined with the nodes of the moon. This is the past/present polarity.
More in the video, with some tips on how to work with the eclipse energy.
